About Me

As a practitioner, I am especially interested in the fluid and changing nature of health; Health as the ability of the body to adapt and change to the demands of it's environment - involving both the external and internal environments of the individual. With all treatments, I take a patient-focused and gentle approach to wellness, of which the patient plays an active role.

My love of the natural world greatly inspires my practice. Finding harmony throughout the changing seasons of life is at the core of my clinical work. Helping you to come into alignment with yourself and the external world and find true healing from your dis-ease.

I have been running a private practice since 2014. During this time I have worked as an apprentice under Paul Movsessian where I have been honoured to observe many treatments and refine my approach to diagnosis and treatment. I have worked in a number of settings including not for profits such as Blue Mountains Cancer Help where I have assisted patients diagnosed or undergoing treatment for cancer and also spent two years running the Blue Mountains Holistic Community Clinic.

Currently I am the director at Waratah Holistic Health Clinic in Katoomba, a clinic servicing the local community and offering an array of modalities, practitioners and workshops: www.waratahholistichealth.com

Education

My initial training was a diploma in Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies which I completed in 2013. Since this initial training, I have completed a two year postgraduate course in Japanese Needle Therapy and Acupuncture Protocols. These strategies have greatly broadened my approach to health and wellness and have been incorporated in my clinic since 2014.

OTHER Areas of POST GRADUATE STUDY

  • Moxibustion, Infertility and Gynaecology, Keiraku Chiryo, Japanese Meridian Therapy, Japanese Paediatrics, Polarity Medicine, Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum

The refined and subtle nature of Japanese medicine as an art requires continual focus and sensitivity from the practitioner. I have an ongoing commitment to my patients through continual education and training.
